PP BOX for AGRICULTURE

1,Hydro Cooling

The Challenge:  To preserve freshness for the longest time, certain vegetables are showered with cool water to stop the ripening process.  Traditional packaging like waxed corrugated or wire bound containers are heavy, difficult to use, and their performance can deteriorate during transit.

Designing the Solution:  A fluted polypropylene sheet was chosen as the substrate to construct water proof boxes that are a drop in substitution for waxed corrugated boxes.  Using the same basic two dimensional design, and engineering design enhancements that capitalize on the unique characteristics of this substrate we have made boxes that hold up to the deluge while protecting the product.

Testing and Introduction:We believe in a hands on approach, and we know that the best designs will not be successfully used if they don’t conform to the needs of the people, machines, and environments in which they are used.  We fully vet the designs, and minimize the start up hassles for our customers.

2,Outdoor Storage

The Challenge :Often times companies need to have their products displayed in the environments where they are used.  The construction industry demands that products be packaged to stand up to outdoor placement.

Designing the Solution :Much of what we have learned in our Hydro Cooling Applications applies to outdoor storage as well.  An added dimension is that products stored outside are sometimes the heaviest and bulkiest items used for exterior construction.

Testing and Introduction:  Our designs are fully tested to hold up to the demands of the application.  We have incorporated efficient box set up as appropriate, and worked with our customers to guarantee successful implementations.

3,Reusable Packaging

We are experts in analyzing logistics systems to identify opportunities for implementing reusable packaging solutions.  We design “drop in” solutions that allow agriculture companies and food processors the opportunity to significantly reduce costs whiles saving thousands of trees per year.
